Child Care Solutions works with other early childhood professionals and organizations to keep current on issues relating to families with young children. We inform the public and legislators about early childhood issues in order to impact the quality of early education and care in Illinois.

Speakers and workshops for community and parent groups

The CCS database contains information related to child care issues such as requests for child care, vacancy information, capacity information, and program specifics. CCS staff maintain the database on child care programs and compiles data on supply and demand of child care in the area. By analyzing child care supply and demand data, CCS can help determine the community's need for child care and can collaborate with community leaders and organizations to address local child care concerns.
