Our database contains information on 900 different child care programs: licensed and license exempt centers and licensed homes. Our service does not have listings of child care providers who will come to your home.

Experienced child care specialists are available to help families:

Assess their child care needs
Explain community child care options
Provide customized child care referrals and resource materials
Advise on child care issues
Provide information on community services and resources, how to access financial assistance for child care, and how to evaluate and monitor the quality of child care programs

There may be a fee for our service. Current Fee Scale The fees are based on your family size and income on a sliding scale that ranges from $0 - $30.00. Once a fee is assessed, the parent is entitled to a year’s worth of service and may request an updated list at any time within a year from the date of the original call.

We can’t always tell you what kind of child care is best – that depends on you and your child. Our mission is to provide families with information on available child care choices; we cannot, however, guarantee the quality of any individual provider. We strongly recommend that families check references, interview and evaluate each prospective provider before making a choice.

All licensed family child care providers are required to have CPR and first aid training and complete 15 hours of training per year.
